I'm jealous... I'm at 60k with 5 sets of pads and 2 rotors down. (I live at the top of a big hill )

![]() I'm assuming you don't use engine braking?? You should. Don't keep it in drive when going down the hills, cruise down the hill in low gears 1,2, or 3 depending on what speed you want to descend. Your brakes will thank you.

Just wow...
I think you should honestly send some info to Edmunds/Consumer Reports... Shows them for rating our car so low, when it can outlast and outdrive any small car that we have seen as of yet!

It's the equivalent of 3 1/3 cross country trips each month or 10,000 miles each month (which is as much as many people drive in a whole year).

Trini.. is a very valuable asset for Yaris owners because it gives us a rare glimpse of the quality, reliability, and longevity of our cars while there still so young ('07 and up). Most new car owners never have this kind of example and have to find out themselves as they pile on the mileage.
This beats the hell out of Consumer Reports!! ![]() |

Consumer reports has no qualms over the reliability of the car, they do have (unwarranted) issues with safety.

The 150000 I remember was last fall before the hack so that means he did 150000 more in a little over 7 months??? Yikes. If it was 7 months since posting 150000 story, if I put in 210 days into 150000, that yields a daily average drive (7 days a week) of 714 miles. Is that possible?????????????????????????????????????????

150K was reached in August '07. He achieved 300K in February '09. About 1 1/2 years in between. An average of 2307 miles a week or 330 miles a day (based on 7 days a week).

bought mine used with 99,700 miles
Just passed 100k and it feels solid, like a well built car should. I am getting fantastic mileage. Very pleased with my purchase.

He had 150,000 in august 07, and 300,000 in february 09 - not 7 months. And very possible given his occupation |
