How much does tinting a 3dr yaris cost???

Last time I had a tint job done was back in 01... back then you could get tints for as low at $160 or high as $400. I'm ready to tint my 08 LB and i'm now living in a different state, and wondering if the prices here are higher than average.

Last year in Spokane, WA I was quoted $200

Now in Eugene, Or...
One website for a local shop stated $240... I went to another shop and they said $320.

I'm still getting quotes... but was wondering what I can expect to pay... I expect no bubbles, so I'm not looking to skimp for a slightly lesser quality job.

EDIT: Yeah >$200 is supposed to be < $200 (less than)

thanks for any help you can give me.

I got my 5 door Hatch done for $300 CAD and it was an amazing job. So a 3 door should only be about $200-$250 at the most.

I think that should be a < instead up there, and I think there's a thread on here about this already.

But at any rate, I was quoted $280 +tax, I think, from the Toyota dealership here. I did some snooping around and found a place that quoted me $110 on my '07 LB for Llumar tint with a lifetime warranty, and they had a special going so I only paid $99. It was very well done; I haven't had any issues with the tint yet, and it's been a few months. I only wish they would have done darker for me!

Well I paid $100.00 plus 7% tax so yeah I paid $107 bucks for my tint installation .... and I have a 3dr hatch

EDIT* I paid the $107.00 for high quality tinting, lifetime guarantee and they did it in 45 minutes!

Talking well...

For all 5 windows, the brow, "toyota" logo on the front windshield, and the clear bra: $530ish.

It cost me $130 AUD (Xmas/New years special), normally it's $150 AUD to tint all 5 windows; and that's with Johnson's Silhouette tints with lifetime warranty on both job and tint film.

BTW, I think your poll's first option is supposed to read '< 200' haha not '> 200'...
*EDIT - I see other's have noted the issue already.. haha..

I know i'll be in town on that day.... Who would've thought i'd drive 500 miles to get my windows tinted. :D

Mine was $165 for metalized film. If I wanted the ceramic it would have been $300

Look at it this way: $450 should net you basically the world's most expensive tint on the market (V-Kool or Huper Optic) installed on your Yaris. As you go down in price, tint quality'll go down, but even then getting it under $200 for good tint is easy, especially if you just want dark and don't care much about heat-blocking.

yeah... back in 2001 I upgraded to the highest film the shop sold... ended up being $400. Didn't look real fancy... but was supposed to be good stuff. It did make a big difference in temperature during the 80-105F summer days.

I live in a slightly more moderate climate now, so even if this tint doesn't do as much heat blocking I'm sure I'd still be happy.

Privacy is actually more of a concern... (don't want people peering in my car).

thanks for all the help!

I got ceramic on mine 35% in front 20% in the back 3. The place I go charges $30 extra to go darker on the rears than on the front and like $35 for the brow. All together my car cost me $320. Got a quote for basic tint on her car and it was $129.
