Archiving detailed walk throughs
I have a bit of a problem with the maintainers of this site. I created a very detailed walk through of how to replace the yaris's pitiful horn for under 30 dollars.
The whole thing took me the better part of a night, and I did it for the people who view this site. I included pictures, descriptions and it was professionally done. Unfortunately they have since archived this post and it doesn't seem to be available to anyone. I would like you to resurrect my post titled Horn Swap: FIAMM C and D horns for Yaris by Jimmydie. I assume that this was a over site so I'll reserve any future comment until I have some response from the webmaster. Thank you so much. |

Hey there,
I'm confused about this whole "archived your post", as there is no function on this site to do so? Can you walk us through what you did?

also, I see the date you opened your account is in 2007, so how long ago did you write this? In October 2008 some lame hackers hit this site and a bunch of threads and posts were lost, so it's quite possible your DIY was in there

Yes Supmet, I believe that your explanation is the answer. I had not idea that this site was hacked. That is unfortunate. Google does read that it is archived and under a link
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/arc...p/t-11605.html It appeared that this was one of those archiving actions that happen. I've had to do this in professional IT work... It seemed to be a similar situation. My mistake. If I have the post I'll post it again... Thanks so much, J |
