So we have a double DIN, can I use two stereos? How?
Hi guys! I was thinking about getting a single DIN bluetooth capable stereo for my Yaris, but would like to have some extra stuff to play with, so I was wondering if I could also hook up one of those cheap E-Bay DVD, Mp4, TV tuner built-in stereos, the ones that arte single DIN, and come with a 2.6 LCD screen. I don't know if the wiring or the mounting will be a problem, I've never seen a car with dual stereos... Is it possible?
Any info will be greatly appreciated! |

As long as your main head unit has auxilliary inputs and the el cheapo E-bay tuner has RCA outputs, yeah, it's very possible, just use the AUX source on your main head unit to output the cheapo's sound. as for the power wiring, I think you'll be able to figure that out for yourself, it's not tough. But, think, you could also use the extra DIN for something even more useful like a EQ, or a in-dash disc changer, or a cassette or MiniDisc player.

heya wasp....
my original setup for my double space would be a single din DVD player with i think a popout 7.5inch screen and underneath it would be a single din cd player. of course u can play around with your space, have 2 cd players (why the fuck for?) or have a LCD pop out screen and have one cd player. whatever u feel like. Did i make any sense at all?
