Check your tire pressure. Larger tires will slightly decrease your acceleration but you shouldn't have these kinds of problems. What kind of tires did you buy? What is the width?

They must be pretty heavy then. 'Cause I just put on a set of OEM 15" EM7s with a 205/55 tire and I really didn't notice any difference.
