Hmmm...maybe.
Take out the radio and check the back for AUX connection.

Yes, you need the Aux Jack (part number: 86190-53010). Check and see if the cable is there (from the back of the radio to the Aux jack location, below the AC knobs).

not working
I found the plug, I also found another thread about this so after reading all the posts I decided to test it, I made a test cable and connected it to the plug.
...nothing... pin 1 and 2, left and right audio pin 3 and 4, audio ground(jumped the 2 together) have I missed something? Thanks for the help! |

i don't think both of those are ground. factory aux is only enabled when an input device is detected, so i'm guessing one is a signal line of some sort, more likely tied to the left audio line.

well I tried connecting only left and right audio + audio ground, and leaving pin 4 unplugged, won't work
I also tried tying pin 4 to left audio, won't work either |

In order to activate the Aux input, AUXI (on the radio end) or AUXO (on the aux port end) needs to be connected to AGND. Once they are connected you can switch to the aux input, even without a device attached. Connecting those two pins together is a quick and dirty way of verifying that a HU can take Aux input. |

Thank you very much for your help, but it seems my HU won't take the aux input
I jumped AGND and AUX0 and the radio won't enter aux mode guess I will have to buy an aftermarket radio but I have to find one wich has a rear aux input, I don't want a wire up front, I feed my music via bluetooth a2dp via my ego talk handsfree anyway, thank for the help, really appreciated! |
