I am one to hate voting.. I say just stick with picking a member, regardless of who they are or if the car is stock or modded the F*** out... trust me, in the long run it becomes happier this way. Unless you find a way to work out ALL the kinks, and even then...people will bitch.

just for input. disregard if necessary.
on a previous forum i visited. the mods would hold nominations for example...
month A ROTM featured: Turbo setup
month B ROTM featured: Color xyz car
month C ROTM featured: best interior mods
and so on.
then hold a limited time vote so that the members would elect out of a certain category the "best"
and this never would get out of hand or messy.
then at the end of the year you could the the ROTY. based on those who won the selected months.

for the record, the best "something" of the month ive ever seen is on SVrider.com

for 1 week everyone gets a chance to nominate their one favorite- but not themselves. no limit to nominations
week 2 voting begins and goes for 1 week
the winner cant win more than once a year.

those nominated who dont win are allowed to be nominated every month technically. when the system is run correctly, no one has a problem with it at all

if youre referring to my rules i say definitely go for it! i love the system they have over there.

just to make myself clear from my previous post. everyone can only nominate one other member. when i said unlimited i mean that if 50 different people nominate others, then there can be 50 entries

and voting is secret!!
