Putty the Fool
I rear ended a GMC Envoy this evening.
I was careless. Thank God no one was hurt. The GMC got a little dent in its bumper. My bumper got a hole, a 4" crack, deep scratches and it's bent. There now is a 1/2" gap about 15" long between the headlight and the bumper. I would like to sand, putty, and paint the hole, scratches, and the gap. What brand or type of putty works well? Thank you. |

Its not that hard, but there is more to it than slapping putty around. Go to a library or parts store, get a body work book and read a chapter about bondo body work. You'll at least stand a good chance of getting it right.
