car will not start
Just replaced the battery. Makes a clicking sound when atempting to turn over. Perhaps the starter gone bad?

ensure that the terminals are properly tighened, use a wire brush on terminals and posts if needed, with both terminals disconnected, of course.

You may have another bad battery or a short that is draining the battery. Take the battery back and have them test it. When installing battery, make sure everything is switched off. Before connecting ground, use a multimeter and see if something is draining the battery or if you have a short.

"clicking" starter is insufficient power or bad connection, in my experience
Did you charge the new ( I assume new?) battery? |
