I always kinda wished we had front plates here. Wanted to get ones that said 3M TA3 on it.
(pretend you the person in front of you, look at it in the mirror)

Ok, so I'm happy as a clown!

Left tweeter in new location, sounds phenomenal!

Left & Right tweeters in new locations... sounds like Heaven!

Best improvement ever after:

- Woofer up front

- Mids down in kick area

Stage is much larger BIG-BIG-BIG, in all directions Up-Down, Left-Right, but the best gain is Depth!

Center image is almost spot on (within 3"-4" circumference) further away from me, and in some tracks feels funny that it's outside the car.

In other words sounds like a much better system than 2 weeks ago.

Still need to work on the a-pillars! But driving without them doesn't bother me, jeje

You saw this already D, but this is for the rest of the audio fans...

This is what you do with the annoying CD pocket...aside from losing change in the back...

As a designer and if it was for me, I would line it up the left knobs on the left side, but that's just me.

I was listening to the IASCA disk this morning, I remember the first few times I went through each track, and said: "boring songs... what's so special about it? and 2 or 3 tracks that would make my speakers in the doors "SHOCK" like crazy, never even realized what was going on on each track, even listening to the instructions made no sense to me, this CD was supposed to be a super disk for SQ music...

Now I realized everything that I was missing, it's a pleasure to go through each song and test track, feel and almost see every single detail, just by the fact that I don't listen to my speakers I just can't hear the speakers, the sound most of the time is coming from the windshield, like magic, like a ghost ; some times I get a little "WOW!" what was that? and I guess I'm a big fan of a phenomenon known as the “precedence effect” or Haas effect..

^ Here comes the history of musical recording! Quadrophonic stereo..."The QS matrix has been found to offer the advantages of excellent diagonal separation and stereo compatibility, and although the adjacent speaker separation is only 3 dB, this symmetrical distribution produces more stable quadraphonic images."

Thank you Sansui!

Some might be suprised that this level of quality has been around since the late 40's and then developed to a higher level in the 70's.

Well...don't tell my wife, but since she's moving to GWU for 15 months...I've got a plan to move my two handmade towers from the spare bedroom downstairs to the living room. That includes my old school pre amp, old school 2 x 150 amplifier, and a nice little DVD player.

*wringing hands*

I can hook up the computer to the DVD player via HDMI...let the modded music files commence!

got a great amount of work done on the car today. I personally handed off the amplifiers, the DRC for the Bit One, and the dash panels to the painter today. I should see those back in a week.

The driver's side mid enclosure is re-aimed and the amp rack has a sub panel built and routered for some nice clean lines. Later this week I'll test fit the dummy amps in and make any adjustments to the sub panel. Then it'll be carpeting for the rack and false floor.

The OEM a-pillars will be back in tomorrow too. More fiberglass work for the bench seat frame sub enclosure will be happening...

AND The home setup sounds great downstairs!

So did you aim so both Mids have the same off-axis response from sweet spot? like I did or what's your plan?

Did you move everything downstairs? that was fast!

The mids are on the same axis now. I took the cue off of another competition vehicle. I have as yet to get everything hooked back up and sounding of though. I'll get back to you on that. It'll prolly be at the end of the month for the 3x TKE IASCA event at the coast. I'm anxious to hear what the Bit One does now with an upgraded power supply and better op-amps on the outputs. We'll see...
