Anyone used the pre-cut tints from RVinyl? The wal-mart tint I used looks so crummy and has developed so many bubbles. I refuse to pay $100+ for a decent tint job

Curious... does anyone know what percentage the windows are tinted to standard from the factory? For anyone thinking "they aren't tinted", they actually are. Put them halfway down and look at things outside your car through both parts... like the sky. I think tint laws look at the total percentage of light permitted, and I don't know if the tint places take the existing tint percentage into consideration when they say they are giving you 35%, for example.

I got a fix-it ticket two weeks ago for 50% on the fronts. $25 fine plus I'll need to re-tint after inspection.

It's amazing to think the prices you guys pay in America to have these things done to the car, tints here in Oz for the car would cost around $450-$600!!!

3M 5% all around, except the windshield at 30%. Free. . . negotiated with the purchase of the car at the dealer.

I regret going so dark. Being that the law is flexible here, I went for the most I could get. I can see ahead, I just can't see behind me at night. Unless there are headlights or bright lights, I can't see squat. I can't back up without fear of hitting a parked car! That and so many motorcycles and three wheelers refuse to use their headlights at night. . .

30% all round except on windshield. Thinking of getting front done with 3M or something for IR.

35% front, 20 around the back and a strip of 20 on the front of the windshield. The yaris has no AS/1 line on the LB so the windshield part is illegal, but the rest is legal in KY

If you want a really good tint shop in the area go to Artech they guarantee their work and tint for life. Got the Llumar ceramic 30% or 40% heat reduction very good in Texas. Front windows are 30% and rears are 15% and windsheild banner. I believe I paid $340

I just got a quote for $229 () installed on all four door windows and back window, fully guaranteed, for dyed only (cheapest of the three options). They use Llumar.

I had another place quote the same amount... hmm. I want it done right, but this price seems higher than what most of you paid.
