Hub spacer install - 1
Me - 0 Spent around 3 hours trying to get the hub assembly "un-stuck." Ended up calling it a night and putting it all back together. Will have to pick up my air chisel I lent out and try again.. |

Oh and FYI - the bolt size is a 12mm to get the drum off, you can use two that hold your hood on. (Use one from each side, obviously, so your hood can still stay on the car.)

It is seized onto the assembly. I'll have to grab an air chisel and see if the vibrations will knock it off.

yeah, autozone for sure.
you could also re-install the wheel and kick against it from under the car, using it as leverage. i had a hell of a time getting the hubs off my MR2 to install my spacers too.

Ah that's a good idea too with the wheel. I'll stop by autozone on my way home today. Thanks Joel.

Btw - I got it. They look great!
Mounting the wheel onto the hub assembly was what did it for me. Had trouble getting the wheel OFF the assembly though, but a "chisel" and a sledge hammer did the job. |

I did it! I did it! But only one side! The good thing is I'm going to be able to take photos of each side and compare! In real life It looks so GOOD! and this is only 10mm but makes such a big difference.
The right tools made a big difference, day and night, I'm a novice with real tools and mechanics, for me a guy who spends 60 or more hours per week in front of a computer, this is a big achievement! I had trouble getting the spacer to fit, there was some "RUST" that made the inner circle impossible to fit with my hands, and the break like was so tight that I had to unscrew some points down the line to give me a little play and get everything back in place with the spacer in the middle. Used a lot of WD-40 and used the power of the tools to force/make the spacer fit. We'll see how the other side goes tonight! Thanks. D.

Did the other side, it was much faster but at the end the RUST made everything a little challenging! but now every thing is OK.
Thanks "Pinguino" Spanish version! D.
