Electrical Issues?
Hi everybody,
This is my first time posting here. I have a 2008 Yaris Sedan with 57,000 miles on it. When I went to drive to work this morning the car would not start. I assumed it was the battery, but when we tried to jump-start the car the horn sounded like someone was holding it down. We tried again after a minute and it would not take a charge. Eventually I was able to turn the lights on and the open door indicator was working but none of the other electronics were doing anything. Apparently (I was at work for this) if the fuse behind the battery was replaced the rest of the electronics worked until someone tried to start the car at which point the fuse again blew. There is not click so I don't think it's the starter plug and I am fairly confident that it is not the battery. Does anyone have any ideas? |

Are you sure you connected the jumper cables properly (+ to + and - to -)?
Also, do you have an alarm? |
