what do you mean miles pile up?

36k miles is not alot. most 08's have this mileage already.

so water pump is warranted until 60k miles??
i have 59k miles on it, and it was making same noise as yours, and belt broke too :(
is our car 5/60k miles for engine? 3/36k bumper to bumper

nevermind it was covered by warranty :)
waterpump, belt and coolant fluid.

You're lucky on the belt. They wouldn't cover mine because it's considered a consumable item. So my belts a lovely brownish color, but doesn't squeak or anything.
