Yaris T1 stock speaker upgrade

Ok, here's probably the most simple question you will get on this forum. I just bought a second hand T1 Yaris... Basically, all I want to do is upgrade the stock speakers... I was thinking Infinity splits up front and I have no clue what to do in the back. It's a 3 door model. All that I really want is a bit more bass and nice clarity without doing a full install. (i.e. amps, sub etc.) Any advice would be greatly appreciated especially tips on taking door panels etc apart. I've installed in golfs, hyundais, fords, but this is the first time on a Toyota!

Thanks!

AFAIK, installing aftermarket speakers should not have any affect on the warranty.

ok, new plan! i want to do a Hertz?Audison install. After browsing the forums, it seems like that is a good way to go. I'm just worried about power consumption for the amps. will the 1 litre engine handle it?

If you intend to use a small amp as you said, it should be fine.

If you are still worried about your charging system, you could always use a capacitor. Capacitors are great at taking the strain off of your car's charging system. Unlike a battery, they provide instant power to your amp for musical peaks like bass notes, because they charge and discharge very quickly.

The general guideline for capacitors is 1 farad per 1000 Watts. So if you have an amp with 500 Watts or less, a 0.5 farad capacitor should be fine. You could even use a 1 farad cap if you can't find a 0.5. You can't have too much capacitance.

ok super! so with a bit of work, i should be able to get a 10" sub, a decent split up front and some good coax's to fill the rear? provided of course that i stay around 1000 watts.... tahnks for the help! with time i should be able to get the bits and pieces and do the install!
