DIY Cruise Control Help
Hi I am trying to install cruise control on my yaris but I cant find a place to run the cable from the switch (interior of car) to the ecm connector (passenger side engine).
I cant get thought the firewall on the passenger side, its all covered up by material and no plugs to push the cable through....any suggestions please! I cant even find a spot on the drivers side....everything is so small and tight! Thanks, Andrew |

If you pull up the left corner of the passenger side footwell carpet, you'll see the grommet where the AC drain tube goes through the firewall. It comes out just below the ECM. Others have poked the wire through there.
There's also a giant grommet on the driver's side, which comes out behind the battery. If you put your head on the floor and look up under the dash you'll see that one. |

I used the plug by the firewall on the courner, you need to go through the insulation with something sharp.
