blank flange on ebay
don't know for a fact why they use a flange, but it may allow folks to weld a blank flange onto the intercooler piping and still remove it from the turbo. gotta be more secure and not have to worry about boots and clamps back there. i'm speculating with no research or past knowledge though. just looking. |

piping is welded to flat plate, that is bolted to turbo with gasket. no boots or clamps, and removable

Sounds like a PITA.
How are regular turbos IC piping connected? Couplers? It's funny garm hasn't chimed in cuz he was running this turbo. Carlos - can you make this turbo work with your setup with the wierd outlet flange?
