Yaris CF bonnet and hood damper
Hi,
Anyone here installed an aftermarket bonnet? I saw an australian importer selling a carbon fibre bonnet (www.takashi.com.au). I'm afraid of fitment issue, but the guy assured me that it will fit without any modification. I have seen some picture and they look reasonably well finished. Thoughts? Anybody? By the way, they have hood damper for the Yaris too, I just bought one from them. Cheers |

Apology for the delay in responding (as I'm not always online), I'm not sure how to upload pictures here...anyway the hood damper cost me AUD$110... took about 1 hr to fit. keep in mind I'm not a technically minded person. It may take 30-45mins for someone else. ;-)

Is it true that you can get a canary or fines for having a CF bonnet?
I've heard that putting one on makes your car unroadworthy because that are very dangerous in an accident (they dont crumple and just slice off heads and create carnage)? |
