jack stand hockey puck vs wood and wood ramps
Hey Everyone.
I have some 3 ton jack stands and aren't deep. I was thinking of getting some wood and making that groove so I can put it between the body and the jack stand at the pinch welds. Does anyone have a picture of their setup? I have rather tall jack stands. I might have to get a shorter height jack. Also anyone have any plans for their wood block ramp? |

I would avoid wood, if the wood splits you could have a major problem on your hands.

With my lift, I use 4 hockey pucks that I grooved with the table saw. Jack stands with narrow tops are pretty tricky to pad.
