Another possible reason for buying the car is that you CAN drive it hard without using excessive amounts of gas, or losing your license. There is something to be said for the feel of driving an engine to redline, as you run through the gears. With many "performance" cars running to the redline in first will get you a ticket. You may have bought a Yaris for the mileage, others may have bought it for the fun factor.

There is no doubt it is easier to reach the limits of the Yaris. That is a good thing for fun. With some suspension tweaks the Yaris should be great fun.

Yeah, in my opinion driving at the limit is what makes something fun. That's why indoor karting is still a blast even though you're only hitting 30mph on the straights.

little update on the high speed
hit 118 (off highway off course because these speeds are dangerous, lol )
but it was downhill
u guys should get to 110 no problem in the yaris though
the trick is to pretty much max out 4th gear than shift into 5th otherwise it doesnt really go over 100
