That's kind of the purpose of the site, isn't it?

RBK spoiler will make a difference too. It did on my car, so add that to the list.

Lol...i wonder about the people ''driving'' in america...more and more.

Like most have said, a spoiler helps but doesn't eliminate. If you wipe it down w/a rag twice a week, it'll stay clean throughout the year.

If you also arch your rear wiper at a 115-125 degree angle, it will TREMENDOUSLY help not collecting dirt/dust.

OK, I am curious as in your avatar it does appear your wiper stops in the uppermost location. How did you set that up? I understand taking the arm off and repositioning it, but the wiper motor is set to stop at the bottom, how did you get around that?

I love the Californicators who cannot understand that some states have snow, and ice, and grit, and salt. "Wipe it down with a rag twice a week..." Yup! And buy a new window every month.

But seriously, Yes, the Yaris gets a dirty back window, and the only cure is cleaning it. I do every time I fill the tank, since most gas stations have a "cleaning station" for windows around here.

I literally fiddled around with it...with my badly wounded index finger trying to reposition the gears.

Yup! We get all the cr@ppy weather. AND too much heat in the summer (for us)
Every time I see someone in the "sunny states" say "lower it!", I wonder if they have ever tried driving a Yaris through 12" of snow.... Hence, no lowering here,and snow tires. Can't wait to get back on summers again. ;-)

Yeah... It's called moderating. It happens when ppl post things that the mod doesn't approve of. We also ban members too, in case you didn't know that either.

The point is this: If you consider a particular thread "stupid" then don't post in it. It is not conducive to a good conversation. In fact, it only makes you look like a troll. So just do everyone (including yourself) a favor and skip threads not worthy of your time from now on, mkay?

The only trolling I see here are some overly criticial moderators. If you are willing to post a frivilous question expect to get some rude comments.

Thanks to all cept maybe madmax. The aeros of the car seem to deposit snow and dirt on the rear window in the extreme. I am thinking an adjustable rear spoiler/ wing that will sweep the rear window and deck area when needed and returned to a neutral position when not dirty or snowing. Just returned from 200 miles in snow and sleet---rear window covered and am concerned rear glass will get ground up with all the road dirt mixed with snow. The idea is to be able to adj from inside the car while driving. Unit will clamp on the hatch. Anyone think there would be a market for such....Don't expect max wants one tho.......ironcar621
