I have a green stock HU out of my '08. it's the usual MP3/WMA one.

A-Man, usually "Error" message on a factory set up means bye bye. Save yourself a ton of head ache and talk to folks at Crutchfield.com. They have many combos or just head units, and they carry all the necessary conversion harnesses and bracketry. You will not be sorry. Good luck bro!

Also, the Crutchfield unit may come with an AUX jack, and then you won't need to ask the passenger to find the hole!! LOL Know wata mean man? Take care.

Lol thanks. I've gotten 1 CD error since the uber cleaning, so I'm thinking I just wanna replace it anyway. If anyone has one for the liftback PM me an asking price.

Forgot I had posted in this thread when you were diagnosing. If you're still in need of an OEM HU, I have mine all boxed up. Figured I would let you have a crack at it before I make a FS thread over in the Classifieds.

I will be replacing the HU in my Yaris soon (within 30 days). It's never had a CD in it since I bought the car new 3 months ago. I go between Issaquah and Ellensburg, so I'm closest! I'll let you know when it comes out.
