Installed cruise control and its working perfect. Along with cruise controlinstalled speed limitter but dont think that is working, may be im doing it wrong.

Hi guys,
this is my first post inhere

I just fit the cc switch to my french made Yaris 2012 NSP130L 1.33L gasoline with 1NR-FE engine and 6 manual transmission, but the cruise light won't come on when switched ON.

has the radio touch system with the bluetooth call buttons on the right of the steering wheel aswell.

any advices please ?

I have a US 2016 Yaris L. I popped the airbag off and to my suprise, no wire to connect to the switch and no screws to secure the switch. Do any of you know what the deal is? I thought these things are prewired for cruise control. Also does amyone know the screw size to secure the switch? Thanks!

looks like a trade secret thing. just like how the lane departure etc have no diagrams online for spare parts.

Installed cruise control stalk and it is working perfect. Along with that installed ASL switch in the steering wheel. But it is not working. Checked the connection in the back side of steering wheel and found a light green cable is there and both from ASL and this one are connected eachother (verified using multimeter).

I am also trying to add cruise control to my 2016 L. I am just about ready to order the parts. I have a manual so I need another switchbfor the clutch pedal. The parts I ordered and am going to install are:

1) On/Off Switch/Stalk - 84632-08021
2) Clutch Switch - 88280-42010 (For a manual transmission)
3) Stalk Cover - 45186-0D150-C0

I found a decent price online at parts.conicellitoyotaofconshohocken.com. I plan on adding fog lamps later on and I only want to take off my steering wheel cover and airbag once so I am also ordering the headlamp switch which is: 84140-47161. Let me know how it goes for you. I’m planning on watching youtube to get my bearings on the install before attempting.

Hi all, I too would like to add cruise control to my 2012 1.33 six speed manual French built yaris.

What are the exact toyota part numbers that I will need, and when purchasing the stalk and cover, does it come with the small wiring loom for connecting it. And would anyone be able to tell me if I need the clutch switch for my car.

Also would anyone have a video of them installing it or a link to one?

Got it figured out, and now it’s alive!!!!!!!!!! I had to swap a wire that was just a plug with a ground with a different wire that included the ground and connection to the cruise control unit. A special thanks to DarkShadowFox for hyperlinking that video of the Rostra install. It gave me the idea to pursue the correct wire from Toyota. Thanks for the help.

Part numbers to install on US Spec 2016 Yaris L are as follows:

Cruise Control Switch (84632-08021)
Clutch Switch; for cars with manual trans. (8820-42010)
Steering Wheel Switch Cover (45186-0D150-C0)
Cruise Switch Wire (84633-02020)
Cruise Control Switch Screws; need 2 of these. (90159-50199)
