Update:
-Lowered the front slightly and I am a few turns away from maxed out now -Installed 3mm spacers back in the rear -ordered my front hood bolts so hood spacers should be out this week -Garm was able to get my front lip ordered so I should have that within a couple weeks Looking into lowering the rear a little more and going stiffer but I am maxed out on 130mm springs. I am going to try running one collar and removing one but that wont be any stiffer. Removing all collars and the perch means I have a 130mm spring sitting in there alone and that is too low and still will not get me any stiffer. So in the long run my only true solution is to pickup a new set of rear springs. I can either pickup a spring that is stiif/tall enough that I can run it alone with no collars and perches and it will still be only a few mm lower under load than my current 130mm spring with collars and perches. Or I can pickup an even shorter spring and keep the collars/perches in there. I will still get a stiffer spring but I can keep adjusting height. My only worry with that route is going to such a tiny spring makes me afraid its going to pop out on large bumps. There is this spring from Swift that is 127mm and 10kg but Im afraid being only 3mm shorter than my current spring and 4kg stiffer, it will actually make me higher than I am now. Z60-127-100 Z65-127-100 I also found these swift springs but at 102mm tall and 8kg I wonder if these are just going to become projecticles http://www.frsport.com/Swift-040-250...e_p_61802.html Last edited by 1.5; 11-22-2013 at 09:19 AM. |

Call up Eibach. They should be able to make you springs to height and spring rate you want.
Edit: Here's a link to Eibach saying they will. Don't know what their pricing would be though. http://performance-suspension.eibach.com/motorsport/products/custom_spec_race_springs

Finding the shorter/stiffer spring isnt my problem. I just dont know if I can run springs any shorter or if i am going to have problems with the spring popping out.

I know it's big time ghetto, but I've seen a few pics on here showing the use of cable ties to 'secure' the springs to the perch.

I've been running my rears with just the spring, no collar. I've had no issue with it coming out. I've heard it pop in and out of the seat a few times going in steep drives, but it's never come out.
I've been trying to find something about 1.5"-2" shorter though so I can get my adjustability back with the collar.

I'm on Megans. It's the spring that came with them, but I'm wanting an 8k/6k f/r set up cause I have my dampening turned all the way up and it still has to much travel.

Found a direct model of where im going with the new direction. Ive been shopping around for lip kits and have picked out the pieces i want from various kits. Garm is already ordering my front and ill hopefully pick up the sides and rear soon. Here are some stolen IG shots. Love both of these so much

I love doing that in the summer man... When I'm bored... I just drive around somewhere I don't know... and then I use the GPS to get back, haha :)
