What is up with cars in recent gens, everyone is going to tail-lights that dominate the butt-end of the car.

They're the main styling element on the rear of the car so automakers try their best for distinction.

Not sure which are more extreme, these or the accent hatch's tails...

While I appreciate the styling of the Versa and the Fit, I really wish they were available in a two-door hatch. I prefer a two-door, and would most likely pass on these models. I simply am attracted to the two-door-with-a hatch styling. Just my two cents.

My two door ECHO and 2 door Yaris have to be the easiest vehicles to get in and out of ever made.

The four doors suck in that department.

If you will be the only person riding in the car my advice is go for the two door!

I like the new versa sedan much better than this..... Versas score poorly in reliability though..

The FIT is very easy to get in and out of . The doors swing out quite a bit .

The Fit only comes in four door, right? A two door Yaris or ECHO (or Versa if they make one) lets disabled people like me get in and out much more easily than a four door dimentions would.

Also, you can get far larger items in and out you cant with a four door.

Im speaking to people with problems here, not the general public.

Only a 4 door . I can see your point about a wider ( longer ) door .

I don't have any issues re getting out of a car, and I like the ingress/egress of the 2nd Gen Yaris 3-door and am used to it. Your post though, piques my curiosity. The next time I'm in a Toyota dealership I'm going to try getting in and out of a 3rd Gen 3-door and a 3rd Gen 5-door and see what differences I notice.
