Need help on Electric Air Intake Kit
Hi guys,
I was thinking of adding a supercharger to my engine but I don't have the money to spend at the moment. Whilst I was doing some research on supercharger, I came across this Electric supercharger Cold Air Intake. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121074868...84.m1438.l2649 I am wondering has anyone tried this on the Yaris? How does it perform and is there anything else need to be upgraded or tuned because of changing to this new part? Also, with an improvement of 3-8 horsepower, can I actually notice the different? FYI, I have a 2008 Yaris Rush Hatchback with 1.3L Engine (AU Version). Thanks guys. |

That won't help your engine's performance. A far better investment would be in an exhaust header. I put one of these Weapon R 4-2-1 headers on my Yaris...
...and am totally pleased with the results. |

Hi tooter,
How much power improved that u can get from the header? Also, is that a direct replacement from the stock header and require no modification? Does it also change the overall sound of your exhaust system? Thanks ya. |

^ not proven yet, but someone should try it to make sure it properly mates with the midpipe.
As for the "electric supercharger" -- please don't.

Cool, thanks for all your information.
I am not going to buy that piece of crap then and might starting thinking of the 4-2-1 header. |
