Crashy get's a windshield
After 4 years of plowing with Crashy, I finally got a windshield for her.
When I purchased her, her windshield was destroyed, so I removed what was left. I really did not think that I would ever be able to fit OEM glass on her, as both of her A pillars were bent. At one point I considered plexiglass, but then realized that it would not do well with wipers. So, after a few rounds of tweaking her with my hydraulic ram, I got the frame where I thought it would fit the glass. I spoke with a local auto glass shop and they quoted me $120 for a windshield (without installation). For that price I figured it was worth a shot, so I grabbed the glass and a $11 caulk tube of urethane windshield adhesive. Last night a friend of mine came by and gave me a hand test fitting it. The driver's side top right corner was still about 1" low, so we made some adjustments with the hydraulic ram and glued the windshield into place. The timing could not have been better, as today we have gotten 12" of snow thus far, and it is supposed to change over to rain for a little while, and then back to snow. My daughter and I just did a pass of the driveway to get rid of the foot of snow, before it switches over and turns into heavy slush. It was actually strange to not have the snow pelting us in the face while plowing.

You're going to hate giving up those doors when the time comes. They are still temporary right?
