I can kinda see that, but I'm not the biggest fan of water-cooled VW's. My heart lies with the 70's and back. But a lot of the water-cooled stuff is influenced by the aircooled scene.

So instead of buying a VW, I've decided I'm going to keep the Yaris as a DD and start work on my Jeep Comanche. It's been sitting far too long and it shouldn't take a ridiculous amount of work to get it going again. Plus I miss having a truck. So the Yaris will live on, just in a different form.
