Seat set swap : 04 Liftback 2 door to 4DR 05 RS
A couple week ago I put my hands on a wrecked 2005 Echo RS that someone was parting out and I picked up the seats to do a swap in my 04 Liftback 2 door Echo.
Seats were not very clean and with some small holes here and there but there is not a ton of RS in pieces in my area no my choices are limited. Stock ugly regular seats. The RS kit Back seat ( not the backrest ) on the 2 door and 4 doors are different so I had to send both bottom part to have someone modify it and swap the covers on it so now I have RS 4 DR seat cover ( back ) on non RS 2DR seat foam . I really like the seats even if the are not the cleanest one but I'm very happy . |

Man... You don't need to give to someone to modify them.
When I did mine back then was using an XACTO knife to trim the excess so the seat sits flush like original 3 doors |

Bah , there's some stuff I'm not good at or never did + I had no tool to clip back the rods under the seat. |

New seats in 2005 base hatch
I want to replace my stock seats with a Corbeau Touring seat, but cannot find mounting brackets to fit my car. The Echo from 2000-2005 seems to be a bit of a ghost. I cannot even find Chilton or Haynes repair manuals!
Does anyone know of someone that makes conversion brackets? Do the slider rails actually unbolt, or are they welded? |

Would echo rs seats fit in a yaris?
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I'm looking into seats for my 2007 that have more side support and, most importantly, have adjustable height. |

The echo RS seats do not fit the Yaris. They bolt on different positions on the floor.
How about you look for the Yaris RS seats? Though, I always thought the normals seats have the same type of support on the Yaris whether it is the base model or RS.... Sent from my ONE A2005 using Tapatalk |
