Bought the Avital 2101L kit from Amazon to replace an IDENTICAL Valet 712T that I had installed when I purchased new in 2008 (15 yrs!). It seemed like it was getting weak when unlocking They never hooked up the parking light portion so I scoured these forums to hook that up.

The Avital look like it replaces several of the old models 412v, 211hv...etc

Does anyone know if 2013 is the same as these older models? having horrible difficulties finding the open and close wires. WIll try these brown and green today. This is a must to add this keyless entry.

The 2013 yaris... The white module on the drivers side kick panel at the bottom (one small brown, small white with black stripe wire, and large white wire with black stripe) seems to be for the electric locks. when this module is taken out, the door locks stop. but why does every wiring diagram I look at have different colors for this? on here I read green and brown, etc.

FINALLY!!! On the 2013 Yaris, the Tan (unlock) and the purple (lock) are the 2 wires. Behind the radio I found that the blue wire was constant 12.5 volts. If I knew all this the first day, the project would have been done in 1 hour. Anyway it works!!!!! Friggin A.

NEXT PROJECT. Does anyone know how to disable the tire light on the dash besides replacing tire sensors?
