Mount Setups for your Mobile?
Hey y'all! First post here. I'm picking up a used 2008 Yaris (3-door) tomorrow, test drove it today, liked it a lot. Originally was looking for a Honda Fit, but I couldn't pass this one up as it was a stellar deal -- 23k miles, well maintained, probably an older person had it.
It's a 5spd, and has an AUX jack, both were huge pluses for me. Other than the sacred AUX jack, it's pretty spartan -- crank windows, no power locks, etc. I enjoy when things are less capable of breaking. So now, I'm curious -- given the setup of the factory interior, do y'all have any recommendations on where you might mount your phone to keep it visible (primarily GPS) and within cable reach of the 12v socket? (for the charging?) Double bonus points if you can swing a 3.5 cable reaching the AUX jack without interfering with shifting. Just looking for some smart options. If you have any pictures of anything you use for your mobile setup, I'd love to see'em! Thanks! |
