Yeah Okada are costly but there are other options. T.M. Works specialize in ignition tuning products. I'm using their basic harness: http://tmworks-web.jp/products/dph_eng.htm or you can go further with 16v: http://tmworks-web.jp/products/alpha_eng.htm and even a few more stages of upgrades. Their full stage upgrades might be even more costly vs Okada and the debate is still going on which is better. |

The Okada doesn't really net much for the investment really. On a ka20 for example with a GT2835 @ 8PSI only gains 7whp and 17tq. Of course as the boost increases you will see a larger gain but it isn't exponentially linked.
I am very intrigued by the idea of using the higher end Vitz coil packs. Wish that there was a spec sheet comparison between them and the standard coil packs. I am sure when we Dyno my newest setup we will see if it would be of any benefit to make the upgrade. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...rcuprojeele-20 It would all be a matter of finding an apropriate size that would deal with the heat that gets generated from the constant operation. As a bonus, it's adjustable, so you can crank up the voltage even more if you're feeling brave.
