Hardrace control arms
So I was doing some digging looking for control arm bushings, and came across these: Hardrace lower control arms.
Has anyone actually had these, or know how to get them? Normally I would just write it off as another company with just a generic listing, but those pics look fantastic. Not sure if maybe they are discontinued or still in prototype phase. |

I'd say fill out their form and see if they have a distributor in the US. Worst case scenario, you get a bit more spam in your inbox.

Looks like they've extended the balljoint which may, or may not, be an improvement on a Yaris.

I'm curious of the cost? They look nice but to be honest i'd rather buy a set of poly bushing on my oem's go and press them into the oem control arms. Those seem all flash and not much function. The bushings are still rubber and compared to poly bushing will not be as responsive and stiff.

I did fill out their form, hopefully I hear back. I found a site that sells in Hardrace in the us, but they don't list these. I hit them up, also.
The one site that is all in korean I found, list these for about $250. I was under the impression that they used a harder rubber, than OEM. If these are not gonna be feasible, I'll probably just grab a set of whiteline bushings. I did notice the longer balljoint, not sure what the benefit would be of this. |

Never bothered to look into it, but there is another source for "roll center correcting" ball joints: http://www.rhdjapan.com/moonface-sup...-adjuster.html Have thought about them, but happy enough with the handling I have not pulled the trigger on a set.

Buyhardrace got back to me. Told me about 7-14 days to get and they would be $239 shipped. Thinking about trying them, they look good, but I have found very mixed reviews about hardrace and not sure it's worth the risk. I'll just stick with whiteline bushings for now.

That seems like a decent price if they are a good product.
What have you heard about the bad reviews?

From some of the honda and nissan forums, that they were kinda hit and miss. I researched for some reviews, and found some decent ones on the control arms and hardened bushings, but kinda iffy on some of the weirder arms that honda guys run.
So depending one how customer service is from buyhardrace, I may snag them. |

So they do not have the RC ball joints. The picture is incorrect. I think I will pass on these arms, if all I am getting is a stock set painted blue. I am gonna go with my whiteline bushings.

Ya, I agree go w/ some whiteline bushings and grab a pair of the RC ball joints that Jason posted above. I'll be doing the same in due time when mine decide they've had enough
