So crazy! It's only a year newer and you have less than half the miles I do. At around 70k, mine would be considered a low mileage example. Yours is damn near factory fresh lol.

Her mileage is going up 60 miles each day, so she'll be at 70k quickly. Remember, I've only had her since December with 21k miles.

I usually don't like the design of virtually any aftermarket wheels that I have seen for sale in the USA, but I have to admit those (Sparco TROFEO 4) look good on your Yaris, minus the rectangular company lettering plastered the very outer rims. Much nicer wheel stance at 37mm offset (16 in version). I would be tempted to spring for the slightly altered Sparco TROFEO 5 design on mine (in Light Grey), which I prefer a bit over the TROFEO 4 design, but they aren't available for the Yaris (I assume due to the integrated 5-lug only type design) - go figure.

The TROFEO 5 is nice, but IMO drilled 4-hole just wouldn't look right.

I had hoped that the stickers would be optionally placed on the wheels, but unfortunately they're not. That's the one thing that bothered me about the Trofeo 4. I do like split 5-spoke designs, actually got the WedsSport TC105N on my FR-S. But I don't think they would pair too well with a 4-lug pattern unless the hub portion was recessed in like in the various wheels I had on my previous Yaris (like how the TC105N are above). Otherwise, they impose on the design like so (another set of split 5-spoke I had): |

Finally can have some clean, filtered air in Dory. My interior shouldn't get as dusty and linty as quickly now. Also got her a 100w Bazooka bass tube. I'll install that once I get a HU for her (the Sony I posted in the first page was returned due to its craptastic performance in every aspect). Is it just me, or does anyone else think the pattern on that air filter looks like it would make a good paint scheme on a Yaris? lol

On a related note, that new honeycomb carbon fiber I'm starting to see is pretty interesting, but I doubt it'll have the staying power that the traditional CF weave does. |
