This probably only applies to stick shift Yaris...
I notice that when I turn the A/C on, the idle RPM goes up a little bit, and the throttle is much more responsive from idle than with the A/C off. I sometimes inadvertantly stall the engine, usually when I'm not using the A/C. All my other cars have idle at 800. Did Toyota set it at 600 for some reason? Like emission? Will my car fail emission test if I increase the idle to 800? Will CEL come on? |

My Yaris if the idle gets too low the a/c stop cooling and if I put in neutral and accelerate it’s start cooling again. I’ll give a try in that screw to see if work better.
