2017 U340E in 2006 Yaris?
Anybody have any reason to believe that a 2017 4-speed is any different than the 2006, mechanically or electrically? I ask as I am considering, among other mods, buying a used U340E (2017 with 3000kms on it) and looking at building it for more torque capacity. I would retain my current transmission (which is working great, no issues so far). After investigating a manual swap, it would be easier and probably less expensive to go for a built auto.
