Overfilled ATF
I have a 2008 Yaris hatchback and I just replaced the ATF. I thought I got the exact amount of fluid in, but when I drove the car around a bit I noticed that the fill level when hot is over the maximum.
I'm curious to know how much margin there is on these filling marks and if the amount of overfill shown in the picture would warrant removing some of the excess. My nail indicates the fill level in the picture. Thank you very much. |

Probably be ok or you can drain a little out.

Thanks for the reply. I ended draining about 180 ml. After this, the level was too low and I needed to add another 100 ml again to get it in the middle. This means that I initially was only over about 80 ml.
