Toyota Yaris 08 plate Automatic - Leak
Morning all,
Hoping someone can help with some advice/guidance. The Mrs has an 08 Toyota Yaris VVti Auto - there is a very slow leak (literally a couple of drops of oil a day) coming from under the car. We returned it to the dealer that it was purchased from and they said they fixed it (which they haven't) - can anyone advise on what the issue is with this/where the leak is coming from - I am thinking it could be the driveshaft seal (might be wrong) - if this is the case, I assume its just a case of removing the drive shaft from the passenger side, remove the old seal and put a new one in? I cleaned all around the case last week - around the seal area with the drive shaft is wet, and on the second photo you can see a couple of drops forming under the bolts so I am thinking it is the seal where the shaft goes into the case (passenger side) Any help appreciated |
