Slap some smaller/lighter diameter than stock wheels/tires on ( 195/50 or 45x15's) a free flowing intake and a performance exhaust and you will be pleasantly surprised.

in all seriousness, before cars had good synchros, it was "a practice" to go through a certain "routine' every shift. You pop the clutch, move the gear shifter from current gear to neutral , then let the clutch back out, then move the gear shifter from neutral to next gear, then release clutch again. It was a PITA , but definitely kept me from buying new trannies every 3-4 races on a Mach 1 Mustang...

Sigh, i got Auto ... YYYYYYYYYYYYY O well nothing can be done now...
But when i accelerate and hit 3000rpm - 4000rpm to merge into traffic when i'm on the highway, my engine gets really loud... this is normal rite? It sounds like its gonna break, but when i hit 100km / hr its quiet again

Hey I have a manual and cant imaging having a Auto. I think that the Yaris here in Oz has a decent amount of power for the price and its category. Here in OZ we a have a 12 point system were if you loose it you loose your license well. I have had my Yaris for 4 Months and have had 3 fines and a loss of 2 points. So right now im not looking for more power in my Yaris.

I don't know much about cars, but it seems kinda slow.

100HP Crotch rocket is what I thought when I bought mine. SHE NEEDS A TURBO...... Sounds like you need a Ferrari or something.

I beat a 95 civic 0-80 mph yay
Lost to a 05 prius tho, lost by 2 cars or so, 0-60 mph

The Yaris is one of the slowest cars on the market, i think it'd take an aveo tho. 0-60 is like 10 seconds or so, point is, its gonna be slow.

With the car so cheap, you can pay it off faster and by a bike/sports car. BTW i love this car!
