I'm sorry the hack ruined the order of entries. there are at least three others in the current batch the closely resemble Thomas' entry as well. But I looked closely at shape and placement, believe me.
And yes -- I intend to produce these at the lowest cost possible while maintaining high quality and excellent fitment. FINALLY, I get to make a hood that FITS correctly. (boo on you, Seibon)

Now that you have them picked, a question? When can we expect to see them (rough estimate), and will they be offered pre-painted?

1 - the Five Axis scoop is larger and moved towards the back. I like ours better.
2 - The hoods will be made in fiberglass (no CF) and shipped to us unpainted. I can sell them that way, or arrange for local painting (this would be best to guarantee least damage and color matching). 3 - We are shooting for the RANGE of about $300 per hood. This is not a firm price. 4 - I don't know the production schedule yet, but I will be posting it, along with pictures if we can get them of the whole process. You were all involved from the beginning, so I'm hoping we can all watch the actual product get made.

300$ includes painted to color match at your local shop? If so, how can I say no?

not sure of the production schedule yet. Pretty sure it won't be until after the first of the year -- this product has to be made well and fit well too, if I'm going to put my brand name on it.

A little update from me...
Before production can begin, CTScott and myself need to come up with a few more composites showing the designs from different angles, as the fabricator will get better results with more reference material. Once these finalized designs are submitted there should be at least 30 days to create the "master", fine tuning of the design, then the creation of the molds, then actual production. Once they're all done, shipping will take a further month or so... So as Garm said, these won't be in the US until next year, so patience, everyone! Also, since they won't be in CF, but I know that my design would look so much better with CF slats, you could in theory get some stick-on real CF sheets like Hasepro Magical Carbon, and cover the slats with that
