just went to the mall to make my appointment at lenscrafters.. my sister's bf works there and got me some good discounts.. picked out a cute pair of glasses... and an estimate of my prescription.. -7.25 thats .75 higher than i am currently wearing! heh, finally he sees just how blind i really am!

Testing my 4 gig of pc memory as it puts garbled lines across the screen for some reason. Anyone know why?

sounds like bad RAM... if your machine is overclocked, clock it down to stock.

If it isn't, try adding one stick at a time to sort out the bad one. Unless you got just one 4gb stick, if that's the case, send it back and ask for a refund

It was bad ram. One of the 2 GB DDR2 667MHz sticks was the cause of the problems. I just exchanged it and now problems now. All is good.

ITs 2 x 2GB DDR2 667MHz sticks. Computer is not overclocked. I think it may be bad ram, it does it with one of the sticks and not the other one. I'm just testing it all again and i'll see how i go. If it keeps it up i will take the bad stick back and get another one.

just got done pulling off the short shifter and installing the NSt cable bushings..reinstalled short shifter. installed NST shifter cage bushings and the intermittent wiper switch. what a good night/morning!
