Baseball: Why is it when it is the third strike and there is a swing/miss if the ball is in the dirt the batter must be tagged out?

Same reason that is the batter swings on a curveball, the catcher fails to catch the ball and it hits the dirt, rolling pasdt him. He fails to control the ball and he heads to first base and he is safe mnost likely.

An apartment building is actually one building with lots of SEPARATE living spaces. And the word comes from the Latin word for "separate," "appartare"

Why is it when I see another Yaris I tend to wave as if I am on my motorcycle greeting another biker? On another note why do the people look like I am short bus material when I perform said wave?

But if you park on a parkway you get a ticket,lol. Good answers I guess, but we have several parkways in KC that have no parks next to them, and trucks arent allowed.
Shouldnt a drive way be an idleway? nowa days anyways.....for us common folk......

In short, it should only be used for bikers and Jeepers. No other forms are allowed.
