I'm 25 and I chose the Yaris over a used E12 3-door Corolla. It's a newer model, not smaller in real-life use and definitely more economical.

Age 53 and decided to go green, traded a Suzuki XL 7 at 19 mpg and a 110,000 miles on it, for my 2007 Yaris Sedan, loaded. Happy with the trade and getting 40+ mpg on the road. This is traveling 75+ with the AC on the interstate which is where she spends most of her time. Would buy another in a heartbead.

My dad is 54 and works out every day.. he bikes to the train station... which is umm 3 miles one way. Then he'd go to the Y and work out and swim at night.. and he takes tennis lessons and he plays basketball with his friends... it's amazing.. plus he doesn't even look like he's in his 50s. So just 'cuz you're in your 50s, doesn't mean that you're "old" .. pssh

Sounds like my dad, he's turning 60 next year, but he runs marathons, goes trekking and camping up mountains, etc... And apart from a few gray hairs here and there, you'd be hard pressed to think he was a day over 50...
Somehow that does not seem like a genetic trait

I'm 22, and this is my first real car - real meaning that it isn't a old p.o.s. (although my old Caddy was pretty sweet).

just turned 28 last august...bought a yaris cause i crashed my '98 civic lx...had it for almost seven years...knew i wanted another small car and almost bought the new civic si sedan but, the price difference got me...i knew i could drive a new toyota hatch and mod it out (my first car at age 18 was an '87 corolla hatch and i loved it) for much cheaper than the cost of the civic alone...very happy with my choice in retrospect because after having driven the si sedan on a test drive, it just doesn't feel like its got 200hp...its other options are nice though, i must admit...

I turned 39 in June. Needed some cheap transportation (gas and price). Checked out all options, Fit and Versa, no contest. Toyota won with ease.
