Yaris = 2230 lbs/2.2 = 1013kg... Spark is less than 1850 lbs; wow that's light.

And good god GM needs a new symbol, the bowtie is hideous... Why not just a chrome "GM", like the Xb, TC, Xa, XD, etc...

looks to be a 4 seater as I think I see headrests in the back but they are super high cutting the rear view space

I sincerely doubt that wide rear offset will make it to production...

Your missing the point; it doesn't matter who builds it, the fact is all GM models have several giant gold bowties on them and it looks horrible. They need a new symbol...

The Bowtie is a CHEVY logo not a GM logo. All GM's do not have a CHEVY bowtie. The only common logo for all GM vehicles is the small Mark of Excellence behind the front wheel well.

a Toyota forum is not the place to talk about other automakers and rust, just ask the Tacoma owners

ive had an aveo for 3 yrs now and have had less warranty trips than the yaris...

we'll see what it is when i comes out...

but i do find the new chevy front ends a bit distracting on everything but the new malibu (which looks great)

I like the concept a bit better. Especially seeing it in person last year at the NYIAS.

They did the same thing as Nissan did with the Versa Concept (aka Sport Coupe). The added extra doors and made the headlights larger. Looks like a bug now lol.

I'm assuming that this is going to replace the Aveo then unless they're going to try to sell both small cars. I mean it could work selling both as long as they market it to the right crowd. The Spark was supposed to be aimed towards a younger crowd from what I remember. If they did that then kept the toned down lookswise Aveo for the older, they could attempt double time, but how are the sales on the Aveo doing these days and with their new look?

Oh and the turbo would have been a better selling point for the younger crowd too.

The Spark is supposed to be in a slot below the Aveo. Like a Yaris/IQ sort of pairing. I'd imagine that if the Spark is successful any future Aveo will look very similarly to it just a little larger.

I like the 2nd picture the best. the 3rd picture kinda looks like a chevy malibu that was smashed in the face. it also has some relation to the pontiac vibe to. imo. it looks ok at best

I seriously LOLed at that.

What they did with the shape of the windows and the front fascia in the production version ruined it for me. I really liked the look of the concept, but of course Chevy had to go switching things up.
