A mix of too much spam, Not enough new people are buying this car.
I also think that only a certain type of person buys the Yaris. Most people ask me "What kind of car is that?!?!". LOL I agree too about the summer thing. Doesn't matter the season with me, I always work indoors. >_<

With absolutely NO Problems with a Toyota Yaris, there is not much to chat about for some people. I actually like this aspect of vehicle ownership. We only discuss the positive aspects of the Yaris on this forum, for the most part.

I check in here everyday - Always find something good to read. People are busy & on vacation for the Summer, they will be back when the weather gets bad. Report the spammers, I have been reporting them & someone (one of the moderators) has been cleaning the posts up. Trying to stay involved here, love the car & want to help to keep this forum alive & kicking

IMO the Yaris is on its way out. a few things being the major contributors.
No more sedan,, they've repositioned the instrument cluster back to the position behind the steering wheel. Most people who have had a Yaris for a while are moving into faster cars.

Yes, I agree. The site is not as busy as it was back in 08, 09, 10.
I have actually timed myself, it takes me less than 3 minutes to go through the entire forum and I'm done. Seems to be a less amount of Yari gatherings no matter what time of year it is. And when the topic does arise, less than a dozen comment on it and it occasionally might come together. Even my interest has fallen for this site. But I do give my 3 minutes here every day. Unfortunately, the Yaris is on it's way out. (just an observation over the past few years) This does not mean I don't love my Yari, cause I do. The Yaris to me is a GREAT CAR!!! |

It may be less busy, it just means the"true believers" hang out here.
Besides that, its a great community forum too. |

The hack really changed things. After it, I really just stopped frequenting all the forums I'm on.

We need to all advertise this website. I've noticed many Yaris' on the roads these days. They probably don't know or have time to go on the forum.
Maybe I'll have to start wearing my Yaris t-shirt, and put a Yaris sticker on. |
