all V8 (LS1) camaro and firebirds from 98 up do not have a return fuel line. The dry set up work very effective as long as you sprayed 8 to 12 before the maf it was effective. but the lt1 spraying before the maf doesnt work so well do to the lt1 do to the computer.
some one will have to be the tester to see if it will work on a yaris. On my brothers integra we put a single dry nozzle in the front of his air filter like a certain zex kit and with a 25 shot dynoed fwhp it would make his auto 1.8 a little sleeper. with that small a shot we had the window switch come on at 2400 and with the wider tires it would pull 2.1 60,s witch is good for a stock exhaust teg with a cheap cold air and rims. the reason for th dyno was to check air fuel more than anything and it was 12.8 to 1 so he ran with it. One year later he got GREEDY and went to a wet 80 and 4 months later broke a piston. |

I ran a ZEX dry kit on the d-series motor of my (very) old 92 civic without any problems whatsoever... I want to say around a 50 shot.

I don't know about the Yaris but I used to run 75hp on a 1.6 miata, (yeah, yeah, I know) anyways I had no trouble with the engine, (that is until a buick decided to run a red and put it in my lap), at the time the car had 140,000 and I installed the nitrous at about 70,000. I'd imagine the Yaris engine is built a little better. Only problem I had was that I had to replace the clutch with a centerforce, a little chatter but I could drop it at damn near 6000 with no slip.
If it were me I wouldn't worry to much about the engine, more about how long the clutch will last, and how often you're gonna have to replace the tires, FWD really has trouble hooking up especially on such a light car. But hell for the price, get it have fun once in a while, and enjoy. These new cars really are amazing, they'll take hell. Back in my super, super idiotic days I'd been able to drain a 10lb bottle in a night, the engine would warm a little, but I never EVER had any even moderate issues with it. |
