With 16x7's, ET42, and 205/50's, can you tell us how your set-up fits? It would be a great reference point for those searching for wheels and tires. Are you flush up front or a bit tucked? How about the rear? |

Last night I piled some adults (maybe about 500 lbs total) into the car, and the rear tires rub a TINY bit over extreme dips and such. Acceptable. Any more spacing in the back would not work. The spacers came with 10mm longer studs -- I would think any spacer set would provide appropriate studs also? As for the 'six threads is enough' comment, that's probably worthy of a separate discussion.

I am planning on posting pictures of my setup as soon as I get back from vacation and finish the install. I ran into a few mishaps during the past week or so. I received 3 of my 4 rims last week Thursday and the 4th was somehow separated from the rest. I got the 4th one this past Monday only to open it up and see that it had a slightly bent lip and unfortunately they were the last four rims in that color in the US. Long story short, 5Zigen agreed with my supplier to overnight ship a rim from Japan, I am not at home at the moment so I can't confirm this. I received my Megan Springs on Wednesday and got the the rear setup complete with rims, trd struts and shocks, and the megan springs. As soon as I get home I will install the front suspension and new 5Zigen lug nuts. I am just as anxious to get some pics up for everyone's comments, suggestions, and dislikes! Thanks!

Hmm...if its pretty much flush with the body kit/fender...will you hit it sometimes going over extreme bumps?? I'm worried about this...since the wheels are currently recessed into the wheel well at the moment...
I'm interested in doing this...i want the 10mm spacers as well..any problems with stock wheel setup? Like everyone else i like the wider stance look...esp. the rear. |

There is this fine line where the rim is flush, but the tire angles inward just a little bit and you have the perfect match up. I've got mine where I only get rubbing under severe bumps and only with more than one person in the car -- I can live with that.
Also, the rubbing is into the plastic wheel well, not with the metal fender.

Whew...that's good to know!!
I currently have stock wheels..and tires...going to upgrade maybe next summer..i'm doing suspension mods this year... I like the idea of the spacers...and how they made the car have a wider stance...looks a bit better too So i shouldn't have problems with stock 15" wheel and tires right? |

I forgot, anyone have pic of what offsets look like on the yaris? I forgot is the higher offset makes the wheel come out more or is that the other way around with a negative offset? Im confused now!!!

Hi!
|
the higher the offset, the more the wheels go inward toward the car, the lower the offset (and/or a negative offset), the more the wheels poke out.
