I am already driving the 1NR-FE engine in my Yaris (with i-stop). It is very economical but needs more revs than the 1.5 which is not a surprise. I-Stop works very well and i got a "ECO OFF" button to disable it.

I don't hate it, but I agree that this apparent evolution towards looking more like the Fit is annoying. Also wondering what the new sedan will look like.

If this is the 2011, Toyota have no plans to innovate on economical class cars. Maybe have not alot of design engineerings like before.

It's horrible looking if its true.
I'sd take the face lift Versa for next year over that. No more Yaris for me then. As for the Conceprt for the Celica/tC thing .. I think it's just a modified Genesis.

It's just a facelift. Everything is the same. Rear too.
http://ambientlifestyle.com/press_ro..._facelift.html Dunno if the Turbo motor is gonna make it here to the states.

The initial 2011 Yaris photos is also a total chop. Those are the same wheels that were on the 2009 TRD Toyota Corolla at SEMA (I believe they're WORK wheels). And that engine is the 1NR-FE 1.3 liter, which is allegedly going into the iQ. Maybe it's going into the Yaris, too? Maybe not. I'm not trying to bust anyone's chops here, just pointing a few things out.
