well, the parts can't be any worse than the chinese turbo used in the Zage kit can it?

The turbo is going to have to be clocked. The turbine outlet is not facing the correct direction. The first part he pulls out of the box looks like a fuel pump, that's not going to work. The third part he pulls out of the box is a fuel pressure regulator, that's not going to work. That is not a Yaris kit. That is a bunch of turbo parts in a box. You get what you pay for.

You will end up with a car stuck in the driveway if you are going to install this. Be prepared to fork out more $ for misc parts. Also, what are you tuning with? IMO putting a $200 turbo kit on a 2007 car is ruining it. You have to pay to play...

That's a bit unfair I think. I think you (1) have not seen that turbo yourself and (2) may not know that the turbo is being used quite successfully on at least ten Yarii now. and that TURBO YARIS' kit also used a Chinese-made turbo (though I think it's a different brand than the Zage kit), and worked just fine.

No that's not what I meant. That it's probably the same turbo used in the Zage kit, so for 200 buck why not pick it up.

ok, sorry if I misunderstood. I read it that you thought the Zage turbo was crappy.
So, yeah -- it could be a LOT worse, to make it as clear as possible.
