You won't need to remove the bumper but removing the splash guard will make it a little easier. By the way I had no cutting or fitment issues however the rubber hose is stretched a tad. I have no idea how often to clean the filter but I got an extra filter as part of the deal.

Remove the cable, then step on the brake pedal several times to remove all residual power from your vehicle's electrical system. Once the battery is reconnected, it will relearn.

I finnaly got a chance to install this Fujita replace it with my xlr8 intake, it's a bitch to install it. Very disapointed.
Xlr8 Short Ram Intake from Ebay way much smoother, don't make any loud noises. The good thing about fujita is you got more stuff. Xlr8 look kindda cheap, since it's no brand name. and since their tube is only 2.5 inches. the fujita make very nice noise (i like it) I did took pictures of both of them, got a little videos from them, test drive them from 0 - 60, i will post them up soon. |

your CEL will reset it's self after a few key turns after the problem has been solved.... no need to be unhooking your batters and have to reset all your radio stations.... just start and turn off your car like 5 times or so, I think it took when I threw a CEL after trying to modify my intake...

Hey all,
Installed my F5 Fujita CAI a couple of days ago... I found that the install was very simple. I did not have to remove my bumper, only the bottom splash guard and I also had to move the wheel well splash guard out of the way after the car was jacked up and driver's side front wheel was removed. It took a total of 45 minutes. Looks great!!!!!!! I will post up my driving impressions later...I haven't had a chance to take it out for a spin yet. |

Go to the wesellcarparts vendor post in the appropriate forum. There was a sale until the end of May that ended up being Cdn$250 + brokerage $90 = $340...
I just took it for a test drive and I would say that it has certainly improved the high end a little bit (above 4000). The sound from 6000-6500 is SICK!!! I wish I had another 2000 rpm of that sound! I did not really notice any loss of low end power since there is so little to begin with... I think you would likely feel more of an improvement if you had the stock wheels. Cheers again Carvin' |
